Players 2 to 8 Duration 15 – 60 minutes Level 2/5

Steps

  1. Use the Business Model Canvas to create a sketch of your business model.
  2. Agree on a time-span you want to consider in the future (e.g. 2 years).
  3. Shuffle all the cards (you can also make a random selection of 50 cards).
  4. In turns, pick a card from the deck.
  5. Use the Patterns of Change card. Select the pattern that applies to the selected card.
  6. Discuss the effect this force and pattern have on the building blocks of your business model, and write it down.
  7. Repeat until you have discussed enough forces. Then discuss how robust your business model is and where it needs adjustment.
