Steps

1. Shuffle the cards and place the deck in the center of the table.
2. In turns, each player draws a card and assigns a pattern of change.
3. The player tells a short story about how this force, following that pattern, could shape the future of a chosen subject.
4. The others respond, build on the story, or share their own associations.
5. Continue until you run out of time or ideas.

Options

• Pick a fixed subject beforehand so all stories connect to the same theme.

Create evolving stories

1. Draw a first card and start a story about a chosen subject and time-span.
2. The next player draws a card, assigns a pattern of change and continues the story so it logically follows the previous card.
3. Keep passing the turn, letting the story evolve card by card.
4. Reflect together on the future the story has sketched.
